Four Weddings and a Money Rule

Ruby and Sundararaman, a Homemaker and an IT Professional, Chennai

Every rupee earned, spent or saved is Ours

“If we have to do things separately, we rather live in different cities and do things on our own” that’s what Sundar told me the day we decided to get married. We have never felt the need to divide the money or keep it in separate accounts.

We have one joint account for doing expenses and another joint account for savings. So our mobile phone, credit card bills are paid from that account and both of us have access to it.

We decide jointly about big expenditures or investments.
